MERA's topmost priority is addressing the needs of security organizations and law enforcement agencies; therefore MERA constantly improves its NetBeholder family of lawful interception products. In 2008 quite a few important features and enhancements have been implemented as detailed below.

NetBeholder now delivers GREATER PERFORMANCE , which includes:

• Enhanced incoming data processing rate
• Increased real-time traffic filtering capability
• Greater search rate for specific interception Target IDs
• Higher data storage capacity

The following CAPABILITIES have been EXTENDED:

• More communication protocols are now supported
• MSN interception capabilities have been improved
• New types of interception Target IDs have been added
• Interception based on secondary Target IDs is now supported, allowing for more accurate and complete acquisition of relevant data

The following FEATURES have been ADDED:

• Search for target information in complex objects such as MS Office documents, images, archives, PDF files etc.
• Data search in a variety of encodings
• Preliminary multi-level filtering of incoming traffic
• Decoding of pre-recorded dump files in an offline mode
